East Norfolk Coastal Landscape Workshop

Winterton and Horsey.  4pm Sunday 13th May 2018.

The area around Winterton is less well known than the beaches around North Norfolk, but has some wonderful stretches of beach and dune. Winterton has a huge area of dunes and marram grass that has been designated an SSSI, due to the rare flora and fauna that are found behind the beautiful wide stretches of beach.

Horsey has a well known windpump that has recently been restored to it's full glory, as well as the beach and dunes where you can regularly see seals and seal pups.

We will choose two or three areas to explore, and spend time choosing compositions and camera angles that make the most of the area. There will be plenty of opportunity to discuss camera controls and exposure, as well as lenses and accessories.

The fee is £95.00. To book your place, please click here to contact me.

The workshop starts at 4pm and continues until dusk at around 9pm so we catch the best light of the evening. We will meet first for a coffee and a chat about cameras and equipment and plans for the shoot. Then head off to the first location to explore the opportunities for great images.

After an hour or two we will pause to take stock of the shots we have made so far, then switch locations either on foot or by car to explore a different nearby area to make use of the varied landscape.

We will end the evening in a spot that makes the best use of the available light for the time of year, and discuss the results of the shoot.
